Vaktinde Privacy Policy

This is an English translation for convenience. The Turkish version prevails if the two differ.
In short
Vaktinde does not require an account and keeps data collection to a minimum. Your location is used to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction.
This policy covers the Vaktinde mobile app. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with third parties for advertising, and we process only what the app needs to work.
Data we process
The following data is processed while you use the app:
- Location data (for prayer times and the qibla direction; kept on your device).
- Notification permission (for the adhan and reminders).
- Your in-app preferences (language, sound, reminder timing).
- No account, email or personal profile information is collected.
Why we process it
We use the data only to provide the app’s features, to find and fix errors, to measure performance and to answer your support requests. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not target ads.
Service providers
A small number of providers make the app work. Each one only accesses the data its own job requires:
- Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı (Turkey’s Presidency of Religious Affairs) — prayer time data for Turkey.
- Aladhan — worldwide prayer time calculation; only coordinates or a city name are sent.
- Google Firebase — app usage statistics, crash reports and remote configuration. No account, email address or personal profile is sent.
Retention and deletion
We keep data only for as long as the purpose requires. Removing the app from your device deletes the data stored on the device. If a server-side record exists, you can ask us to delete it by writing to support@ambersf.com; we complete such requests within 30 days at the latest.
Security
Data is carried over encrypted connections (TLS) in transit. Server-side access is limited to the studio owner. No system is perfectly secure, so we reduce the risk by collecting as little data as possible.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you notice such data, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Under GDPR and Turkey’s KVKK you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing and to object to it. Send requests to support@ambersf.com. You can withdraw device permissions (location, notifications, camera, microphone) from your operating system settings at any time.
Changes
When this policy changes we update this page and the date above. For significant changes we also notify you inside the app.
