Why are the prayer times different from another app?
It can be due to a different data source or calculation method. Vaktinde uses Diyanet data in Turkey and Aladhan data elsewhere.
Can I use it without sharing my location?
Yes, you can also select a city instead. The qibla compass needs compass and location access.
The adhan notification isn’t playing — what should I do?
Make sure notification permission is on, silent/focus mode is off, and the in-app sound is set. If the issue continues, write to us.
How do I calibrate the qibla compass?
Move your phone in a figure-eight motion in the air and stay away from metal surfaces.
Which languages does it support?
Both apps have an interface in 34 languages. Quran translation, transliteration and prayer guide content are provided in Turkish, English and Arabic.
What’s available on Apple Watch?
Prayer times, a countdown to the next prayer, and complication support.
How do I add the widget to my Home Screen?
Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, tap + at the top left, choose Vaktinde and pick a size. The widget shows the next prayer and the countdown to it.
How do I add a widget to the Lock Screen?
Touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customise → Lock Screen, tap the area below the clock and choose Vaktinde.
What is the Live Activity and how do I turn it on?
As a prayer time approaches, the countdown appears live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. If you do not see it, check that Settings → Vaktinde → Live Activities is enabled.
The widget shows a different time from the app.
iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule. Opening the app once refreshes the widget too. After changing your city it can take a few minutes to catch up.
