What it does
Counter mode
At the fishmonger: legal sale size, closed season, and timing. If you see fresh bonito in April, the app tells you why.
Angling mode
On the shore: can you keep this fish, how many, and during which dates. Species under seasonal closure are flagged separately.
Catch bag
Tracks your daily total. The 5 kg limit isn't per species, and the largest fish is excluded from the count — the app calculates this correctly.
Photo measurement
Place a bank card next to the fish and photograph it to get a size estimate. If the result is close to the legal limit, the app won't decide for you — it asks you to measure with a ruler.
The source is always visible
Every limit shows exactly which communiqué and article it comes from. No guesswork, no secondary sources.
Protected species
53 species that are fully protected from fishing. It tells apart commonly confused species like grouper and dusky grouper.
Where the data comes from
Size limits, allowed catch amounts, and seasonal closures are taken directly from two communiqués: Commercial Communiqué No. 6/1 (Communiqué No: 2024/20) and the Communiqué on the Regulation of Amateur Fisheries No. 6/2 (Communiqué No: 2024/21), Official Gazette 11.08.2024 / 32629. Valid from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2028.
Season information and common local names aren't legal data; they're an editorial compilation shown in a separate section of the app.
